The Gogan Collection draws inspiration from Japanese stones shaped by time and water, balancing softness with a sculptural, organic form. Like riverbank stones carefully stacked in equilibrium, the sofa achieves a sense of lightness despite their substantial presence. With plush, irregular cushions and a subtly reclined seat, Gogan offers both visual harmony and exceptional comfort.

The seats are soft and irregular with the centre of gravity being slightly inclined towards the rear. This gives exceptional comfort and allows the backrest to be kept lower. The backrest and seat are joined by abutments, which lend the sofa a sense of lightness, so that it appears as if it was suspended above the ground.

Patricia Urquiola, a renowned Spanish designer based in Milan, studied architecture under Achille Castiglioni before establishing her studio in 2001. The 99.5" length sofa can seat 3-4 people. The 122" length sofa can seat 4-5 people.

Can I create a custom size of the Gogan sofa?
